| A: For the tables you would like to put restrictions on, you will need to define an additional authorization.
So, please go to the Administration -> System Initialization -> Authorizations -> Additional Authorization Creator and then create an additional authorization by giving it a Permission ID and Name, and specify the Form ID in the lower left part of the window (to find the Form ID you should set the Debug Information active under the View menu, and then hover your cursor over the form window, then you will see the Form ID at the bottom line of the SAP Business One window). |

A: When user performs changes in the document’s settings, these new settings are saved permanently in the CPRF table. This is true only in case the user closes SAP Business One (e.g. upper menu File => Exit). In case SAP Business One is not closed in a proper way (e.g.Alt+Ctrl+Del, System Crash etc,) the new document settings will NOT be saved. In addition, the issue may occur when a particular user has a few SAP Business One sessions open simultaneously. In such scenario, if user customizes some settings in one session, then closes it, and afterward closes all other sessions, saved settings from the first session will be overwritten by the other sessions consequently closed. To avoid this, make sure user has only one copy of SAP Business One running, customize the settings, close the client properly, log the user on again. The settings should be kept. |
